Preparing For a Session

Step 1

It is very important to get a good night’s sleep before the session. A healthy 7-8 hour sleep will help you to bear the process more comfortable, and the body to recover faster.

Step 2

You should eat well before the session, it will help to avoid dizziness in the process, as well as nourish your body with the necessary energy. I recommend bringing some of your favourite snacks with you!

Step 3

Please wear loose and comfortable clothing. Make sure the area being tattooed is easily accessible and not restricted by any fabrics. Nothing that will cut off circulation to the area. It’s better to be able to easily re-adjust your positioning in case you become uncomfortable.

Step 4

You should moisturize your skin 1-2 times a day with a moisturizing cream for 7-10 days before the session. This will ensure easier application of the ink.

If it is necessary to shave the area being tattooed I will do it on the session day.

The only exception to this is if the hair is very long or thick. Then I ask that you either seek the help of a hairdresser/barber or shave down (not clean shaven) the area with a body hair trimmer making sure not to cut yourself!

We cannot tattoo if the skin is damaged, so be careful! This will all be discussed in the consultation session.

Step 5

Drink a lot of water, it will make your skin hydrated and prepared for your tattoo session.

Step 6

Think in advance about what will help you to not get bored at the session. It can be your favourite music, series or book. Don’t forget to take your headphones as it will be distracting otherwise and could end up taking longer to finish.

Please keep in mind, we are a very small private studio, do not plan to bring any guest(s)! Thank you for understanding!

Step 7

It is forbidden to take alcohol and blood-thinning drugs (aspirin) at least one day before the session. They can cause profuse bleeding during work.

If you are suspected to be inhibited in any way, we have the right to refuse service and you will have to pay for a new session book in at a later date.

Step 8

Make sure to put together and bring any necessary identification and paperwork, especially if it’s your first time at the studio.

Step 9

Keep in mind it is important to be Punctual. Arrive on time or a few minutes early for your appointment.

Please don’t show up late, you are only losing your own time.
